Community Consultation
From time to time the Council will consult the local community on specific issues and feedback will be available via this website.
The Council's current policy with regard to the keeping of livestock on allotment sites is that no new applications will be considered where such sites are adjacent to housing in order to prevent noise and potential vermin.
A number of allotment holders have requested that this policy be reconsidered and questionnaires have been sent to households potentially affected by such a change.
